About the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF)
The Anti-Narcotics Force is responsible for controlling the smuggling and unlawful use of illegal narcotics inside Pakistan. The Pakistani government owns this property. Ijaz Ahmed Shah is the Minister of Narcotics Control for Pakistan’s Ministry of Narcotics Control and the Pakistani Army (Pakistan).
Due to a misinterpretation of Section 4 of the ANF Act of 1997, the force’s commander is now a Pakistani Army general.
